CSM William E. Funcheon

CSM William Funcheon was born in Blue Island, Illinois on 11 September 1968. He entered the U.S. Army in August 1986 entering Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and graduated Advanced Individual Training as a Wheeled Vehicle Operator (88M).

His civilian education includes a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Excelsior College and is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Organization Leadership and Management from Excelsior College.

He is also a member of the prestigious United States Army Europe Sergeant Morales Club. CSM Funcheon is married to Gwendolyn Funcheon of McCrory, Arkansas. They have one daughter, Kathleen (16).
