Mission
We are committed to providing the highest quality of post retirement support to our military retiree community:
The installation Retirement Services Officer (RSO) is the source for information for retiring and Retired Soldiers, their Families and, ultimately, surviving spouses
Post Retirement Service Provided:
• Counseling for survivors of retired Soldiers and Soldiers who die on active duty regarding their SBP options
• Conducts annual Retiree Appreciation Day. Next Retiree Appreciation Day will be held on June 11, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 14:00 p.m. at the Freedom Fitness Facility (Gymnasium), Warner Barracks.
• Provides information and filing assistance for the Annuities for Certain Military Surviving Spouses-also known as "Forgotten Spouses".
• Assists in the processing of DD Form 2656-7
• Assists retired Soldiers and their Families with information on benefits and entitlements to include Veterans Affairs, Tricare, Social Security and others Overseas Installation Retiree council which addresses local retiree issues
