The USAG Bamberg, Directorate for Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security is prepared to support tenant unit deployments and redeployments throughout the Bamberg area of responsibility.

The DPTMS office prepares, coordinates and issues operation orders and plans to staff and agencies on behalf of the Garrison Commander and coordinates operations between higher, lower, and lateral offices to ensure seamless support is provided to the community and tenant units for all community events.
Plans Office is also responsible for executing the Conventional Forces of Europe Treaty for the installation and is the POC for all interagency agreements.
Installation Operations Center (IOC) / Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
The IOC is a non-duty hour, civilian-staffed, operations center whose primary function during routine/non-emergency periods is to maintain communications between the Garrison Commander, IMCOM-Europe, USAREUR and the Bamberg community.
Security Division / Fingerprinting

The Security Division provides community members assistance with Personnel Security clearance submissions, Information Security guidance, Security Education Training and Awareness, Industrial Security actions, pre-travel country briefs, country/theater clearance submissions, and fingerprinting services.
Antiterrorism / Force Protection
AT/FP 469-7509 / 8877
The mission of the Antiterrorism/Force Protection office (AT/FP) is to provide the Bamberg community with a total AT/FP program designed to protect lives, facilities, information and equipment. The AT/FP office advises garrison leaders on AT/FP matters; Oversees antiterrorism training program for all installation personnel; analyzes and disseminates threat information as it relates to AT/FP and develops AT/FP plans, programs and conducts assessments of the garrison.
