A Standing Payment Order (SPO) or “Dauerauftrag” in German: This type of payment is initiated from a checking account for recurring regular fixed payments. The accountholder establishes the transfer, for a specific Euro amount on a specific payment date, to the bank of the beneficiary. The legal contractual relationship is between the customer and the bank. Customarily, these types of payments are established for rent payment, fixed utility services, and installment payments to vendors or ongoing transfers to any German bank of customer choice. The payments are free of charge.

A Bank Debit Authorization or “Einzugsermachtigung” in Germany: With this payment method the accountholder authorizes the beneficiary to debit or withdrawal funds from an established checking account. These type of transfers are usually initiated for irregular payment amounts and variable payment dates established in a contract between the accountholder and the beneficiary. The legal contractual relationship is between the customer and the designated service provider. Customarily, these types of payments are established for vendors, such as: TKS, ARCOR, T-Mobile, Vodaphone, O-2, etc. These debit authorizations are free of charge to the customer.

A Onetime Payment or “Uberweissungsauftrag” in German: Is a manual payment process where the customer makes a “One Time Payment” in the bank. The payment is made via cash, check or account withdrawal in person at the bank. This payment can be initiated to any German beneficiary for any amount at any time. This payment service is available to account and non-accountholder of Community Bank The bank sends the payment on behalf of the customer to the designated beneficiary.
